This here is the page for Chase and Mory's winter trip 2011. [Our estimated route] takes us all over the West Coast.

11/14 - Monday - Belmont, CA Rohnert, CA

We plan to visit the aquarium in Monterey on the way up. We'll be meeting Katie in Belmont, having dinner at a restaurant of her choice, and heading to our hotel (TBA).

We drove along the 1 to Cayucos, ate at Duckies' Chowder House and grabbed some candy from the nearby candy store. Followed the 1 to Belmont, had dinner with Katie. Grabbed some drinks and a charger from Walmart and Best Buy. Drove to Rohnert Park and we're staying at the Budget Inn here. I'm watching the GSL while Mory sleeps.

11/15 - Tuesday - Fort Bragg, CA

We'll be visiting Mendocino, Glass Beach, the botanical gardens, Burrows Ranch Rd, skunk train (???). Will be staying at the North Cliff Hotel (113DPF).

Per instructions from my dad, we'll be taking the 128 to Fort Bragg, splitting off the 101 at Cloverdale.

Ate breakfast at Shari's in Rohnert. We stopped at several vista locations on the 1, went to Mendocino, got cookies, browsed stores, saw the mural, went to Glass Beach, went to MacKerricher Park, ate at Cap'n Flints, stayed in the North Cliff Hotel. NCH was the best hotel ever.

11/16 - Wednesday - Brookings, OR

Visiting Azalea Park, staying in a yurt at Harris Beach (2-3275614)

We ate at the Tradewinds (now TW) for breakfast, and headed north to Brookings. We drove through the drive-through tree. We had lunch at Marie Callendar's in Eureka. We stopped and looked at the sunset in Crescent City. Went to Fred Meyer's in Brookings, bought dinner and a blanket, and went to our yurt.

11/17 - Thursday - Seaside, OR Aberdeen, WA

Visit Tillamook Dairy on the way up, eat ice cream and cheese curds. Once in Seaside, boardwalk, promenade, hang out.

Went to Harris Beach for a bit. Drove along the coast, stopped for pictures, went to Port Orford for a business call (the Ray's Food Place here has ShoreTel! also great chicken strips). We went to Coos Bay and Bandon, got donuts in Coos Bay, got some clam chowder in Newport. We tried going to the outlet Nike store in Lincoln City but they were closed for remodeling (opening TOMORROW) so we went to Harry & David's and Old Navy. After that, went to Tillamook, ate cheese curds and ice cream. Ate some Chinese food in Gearhart. We decided to skip Seaside since it was rainy as hell and their Nike outlet store didn't have Oregon Ducks jackets. Drove over to Washington via the bridge in Astoria, drove through some heavy rain, drove to Aberdeen and got a room for the night at America's Best Value Inn.

11/18 - Friday - Port Angeles, WA

Explore the forest.

We drove in the snow, mostly. Took some pictures in Forks. I had a Bella Burger and a Twilight Punch, Mory had some clam strips. Stopped in Port Angeles, walked along the harbor. Mory was sick so I grabbed Chinese and some clam chowder and we ate at the hotel.

11/19 - Saturday - Seattle, WA Vancouver, CAN

Hang out with Ribai, go to AFK Tavern to watch MLG Providence.

We drove to Bainbridge Island and took the ferry to Seattle. We had some chili and chowder on the ferry. We met up with Ribai and his son in Seattle, after walking around a bit. Hung out at the Chao Bistro and watched some MLG StarCraft matches. Ate a Siege Tank. Went to the AFKTavern to check it out, ate a Dragon's Hoard. Decided that staying in Seattle was for losers and drove to Vancouver instead. We were fascinated by the big light thing up in the sky. Stayed at the Uptown Best Western. No internet here due to roaming charges.

11/20 - Sunday - Vancouver, CAN

POUTINE, maple syrup, bagged milk, hang with Matticus.

Woke up in Vancouver. Went shopping at a nearby mall, got some weird drinks and some honey mustard chips. Drove down to Stanley Park and checked it out. Very cold. Got some maple syrup candies and taffy. Saw many ducks (22 male, 16 female). Went to our new hotel (West End HoJo) and got settled in. Went to Japadogs, a nearby Pho place, and ate some cream puffs. Hung out at hotel. Crossed the street to Fritz to get some awesome poutine.

11/21 - Monday - Portland, OR Eugene, OR

Dinner with Seth? Voodoo donuts.

Seth was in Grants Pass, so we just drove from Vancouver to Corvallis. Stopped for Tim Horton's and a Walmart along the way. Saw Cody in Corvallis, then drove to Eugene and talked with Colton. Went to Voodoo Doughbnuts and got a 50-pack of day-old donuts for $5. Stayed in a cheap hotel there.

11/22 - Tuesday - Crater Lake, OR Grants Pass, OR

Weather permitting.

Weather was bad. We went to the UO student store and got a sticker for the car, a jacket for me, and a sweater for Mory. Drove to Roseburg and got new tires for the car from Les Schwab and some Dutch Bros. Drove to Grants Pass and checked into a Motel 6. Saw my dad at work and then did laundry at a laundromat. Had dinner with my family at Black Bear Diner and then helped make some Thanksgiving baskets at Albertsons. Stayed the night at the Motel 6 (no running water).

11/23 - Wednesday - Grants Pass, OR

Lunch with mom.

After doing some shoe-shopping and went looking for shot glasses. Went to many stores, but found them at the Oregon Store on G Street. Ate breakfast burritos from Muchas Gracias. Drove out to my parents' house.

11/24 - Thursday - Grants Pass, OR

TURKEY AND FOOTBALL.

Ate a lot of food, watched football, went to my grandma's house.

11/25 - Friday - Grants Pass, OR

???

Went to Black Friday sales with my mom and sister. Went shooting with my brothers and dad.

11/26 - Saturday - Sacramento, CA

ShoreTel install in Roseville.
